McCormick basically bites. They do most of their product testing live with locals in their facility and the big "we'll send it to your house" program is so few and far between with so few picked as compared to how many they sign up is really just a FREE consume survey database they use for their own marketing development purposes. The big long survey you do for FREE is ridiculous. At least places like pinecone pay you when they take up 20 minutes to 1/2 hour of your time. McCormick just gets everyone for free rushing to give them all this product info about what you like and don't like in the hopes of getting on the study, but it's really the data from thousands they were looking for, not to send many people any samples. Why do you think almost nobody gets rejected from signing up for McCormick? They're just getting free valuable survey data about their products out of all those people, and the more the merrier. I'm DONE with McCormick. They get way too much out of their signups for nada, and they need to start coughing up some "thanks" to the people who are loyally signing up and routinely participating if they want to retain a loyal survey database, IMHO. No more freebies for mccormick from ME. It's been way too long for years of giving and giving with no acknowledgement of the work involved in these relatively long surveys that we get paid for elsewhere! (or at least I do!)
