Free Braille Books Program
The American Action Fund team offers free Braille Books each month (or every other month depending on the child's age) to blind or vision impaired children.
Enroll in the Free Braille Books Program to receive a free Braille book each month from popular children’s reading series. This program has provided thousands of books nationwide and continues with new selections for 2026.
Each child will receive books to keep and build their own collection while enjoying the same titles available to their peers.

The American Action Fund for Blind Children and Adults has been providing free Braille books since 1997, helping children build literacy skills and confidence through access to popular reading series.
2026 Book Lineup:
Participants will receive one Braille book each month, and all books are theirs to keep and collect over time.
To qualify, applicants must be blind or low vision and able to read Braille. Enrollment is required through the official application page.
