Young readers can participate in the Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program and earn a FREE book after completing the reading challenge.
Participants will read 8 books, visit a Barnes & Noble store 4 times during the summer, collect stickers, share book recommendations, and finish the program to choose a free book from the available selection.

How It Works
- Download or print the Summer Reading Journal from the program page.
- Read 8 books during the summer and track them in your journal.
- After every 2 books, visit your local Barnes & Noble store with your journal.
- Collect an exclusive sticker and share a recommendation for your favorite book from that matchup.
- Complete all 4 matchups to earn the Champion sticker and finish the challenge.
- Choose a FREE book from the eligible selection after completing the program.
The program is open to children in Grades 1 through 6. Along the way, participants can discover new books through recommendations shared by other young readers in their local store.
