Hi there Jenni, thank you for sharing your experience with Bulu box. Let me start by saying although we do promote their offer we are separate from them (I'm sure you already knew that - but just to be clear).
During the process of ordering the "free" box, which has now become a $5 box (the first, promotional box), you can select month-to-month, every 3 months and so on. To keep from being billed you have to log into your account and go through the process of cancelling your account. Otherwise you continue to be billed. If you have not done so, by all means please make sure to log in and cancel your account [following all of their steps].
As for the quality of their products, I had two Sausage Egg & Cheese McGriddles from Mac Doos this morning so I guess I could not speak to that. Not to impugn your quality of diet.
I hope you get Bulu sorted out. We have had a great experience with them.

I want to share my thoughts on Bulu. I'm a gluten-free vegan, and they made these boxes sound like they'd be a good fit for someone with my dietary restrictions. They were anything but - FULL of cancer-causing whey products, tiny samples I could get free at Whole Foods, and a lot of hyped up junk. I got the "free" box and chose not to do a subscription. However, low and behold, this month I was billed for a box, which they charge on the day they ship it and don't warn you by email so you can't stop it or dispute their "non-refundable" policy. Mind you, I did NOT save my payment information with them and I can log in and it clearly shows no payment information is stored because I'm not under a subscription. THIS IS ILLEGAL, FRAUDULENT USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. They basically said too bad so sad, it's non-refundable and the free box automatically enrolls me in a subscription (even though I checked the one-time box, apparently the free box overrides your actual choices). BEWARE - if you DON'T want Bulu box, you may end up being charged anyways, and more concerning is their storage of your personal and payment information even when you've specifically elected for them NOT to save that information.

Thanks for all the freebies! I was finally able to get this one :) I did use an old prepaid debit card, and it worked fine for me :) Can't wait to see what all comes in my box! I should also thank Darth Damsel on youtube lol she is the one who lead me to you :)

Hey Bev, The first box is totally free. The instructions above explain that you need to enter a cc because this is a monthly subscription but you can cancel after you get your free box and they won't send you anything else or charge you. You can even use a prepaid card for your order.

Hey HoneyB Twentytwo, Thank you for letting us know. I had a great experience with the customer service department at Bulu Box so if you're contacted them they should be able to get everything squared away for you.
If an offer on Vonbeau says it's free and you get to the checkout and for whatever reason the total does not say $0 or you cannot see your total, don't proceed. Unfortunately a lot of the coupon codes expire pretty quickly and we would never want you to pay for something that is suppose to be free.

Thanks for the info but I have yet to received my Bulu Box order from May and I did NOT get it free. I was charged $10 that I am having to try to get refunded..
