The Utopian Seed Project is offering a FREE Sow True Seed sponsored Whidby White Okra Community Seed Selection Kit to those interested in growing their own okra (which is pretty easy if you live somewhere warm). The kit includes a packet of okra seeds, a flower isolation bag, a color spectrum card, an empty seed packet, a The Utopian Seed Project sticker and a set of instructions! They do ask that you use the kit to grow some okra (min. 10 plants), provide them with a photo of the palest okra against the color spectrum card, bag a flower on the plant producing the palest pods in order to save pure self-pollinated seed from that plant and mail some of those seeds back to them at the end of the season!
