Toaster Strudel is a brand of frozen breakfast pastry owned by General Mills, Inc. It is marketed under their brand, Pillsbury, formerly the Pillsbury Company. They are convenience food, prepared simply and quickly by heating them in the toaster and then spreading the included icing packet on top of the pastry. The brand has found considerable success, since being deployed in 1985 as competition with Kellogg's Pop-Tarts. In 1994, its advertising slogan was, "Something better just popped up".
