Well here's the deal for me - so the Alexa app had a hard time understanding me. Apparently it SHOULD'VE repeated my phone # to me that's why I never got a link. I then tried this with my Alexa SHOW - so you do NOT need to use the app. When I got to the phone # part; it repeated the number I gave it and bingo - the text arrived
