Free Entrance to National Parks on Wednesday, August 4th
Sunday, Jul 25, 2021 | 3 Comments
The National Park Service is celebrating the one year anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act on Wednesday, August 4th with a Free Entrance Day in the National Parks at over 120 participating parks in the United States that normally charge an entrance fee! This is a perfect time to get out of the house and enjoy the beautiful outdoors with your family! Click this link to search for a participating park in your area.
The fee-free days provide a great opportunity to visit a new place or an old favorite, especially one of the national parks that normally charge an entrance fee. The others are free all the time. The entrance fee waiver for fee-free days does not cover amenity or user fees for activities such as camping, boat launches, transportation, or special tours.
