I was a previous subscriber. Haven't been for about 3-4 months. This promotion worked for me for 3 months @ $0.99. I immediately "cancelled" my membership, so the subscription will not auto renew: Kindle cancellation message "Your membership will end on March 26, 2019. After that, your borrowed titles will be removed from your library and you will no longer be charged."

This deal worked for me just now and I was only charged the $.99 as stated above. I was a previous subscriber over 6 months ago and very glad to get this deal for 3 months. Thank you for saving me money!

I think you got this wrong because I tried to go get it and it just tried to Bill me 9.99 I I am a former Kindle unlimited subscriber so it should have worked if this offer is right.
