I tried entered my $10 gift certificate number and it went through but shipping is not free. And either on shop runner because I tried signing in with my shop runner account and it says that in order for get free shipping on Eddie Bauer then you have to have a minimum of $25 otherwise standard shipping is $7.99 and I tried this offer before and they cancelled my order because it was free.

Thank you for letting us know, John. They previously offered free shipping (no minimum) for Adventure Rewards members but they've changed it up now. If you have an Eddie Bauer store nearby, you can redeem your certificate in-store.

I just joined and got the following message: "Welcome! With your first purchase, we'll add $10 in Rewards to your loyalty account to spend on gear & apparel for your next adventure. SPEND ANOTHER $166.67 TO EARN A REWARD" Does it mean that in order to receive my first $10 reward I need to make a purchase? And looks like I need to spend $166.67 first.. :)

Hi Jenny, That email is talking about something different. For the free $10 certificates that arrive randomly by email throughout the year, all you have to do is become an Adventure Rewards member and sit back and wait for those emails to arrive.
