The back of the poster offers several lesson plans and activities, including understanding journalism as a first draft of history and using primary sources to build media literacy. Worksheets help students analyze key turning points in history, including major marches in Washington by advocates seeking the vote for women and racial equality. The activity can be adapted to compare marches then and now.
